Holiday workshop fairies or dancers
Always wanted to make a doll ? Well now you can in a 6 day workshop in my large studio in Ichtegem (Belgium)
You can even turn it into a very nice holiday since since the village is surrounded by all kinds of wonderfull touristic attractions. On a very short distance there's the sea in Ostend and at the same distance there's the wonderfull town of Bruges, also know as the Venice of the nort.
At the end of our street there's the magnificent medieval castle of Wijnendale that can be visited.

From the 1st untill the 6th of july 2013
First of all you learn how to chose a pose. Then we transfer this pose into a wire armature. This armature is our template for the soldered armature. Oh yes, you will learn how to solder and believe it or not, it's very easy. After the soldering the body gets some shape with aposxie and aluminum foil. Then we get onto sculptin the body and the head with "living doll". After that it' sanding. Skintones are applied with genesis paint.Applying the hair and modelling it. You learn how to dress the full sculpt and how to solder wings and dip them into vitriflore.

Coffe, tea, hot chocolate, water, soup and all kinds of knibbels during the day.
FAbric and lace for dressing the doll are not included.
I only take 4 people for this workshop. Date : from 2nd untill the 7th of july 2012, from 9.00h till 12.00h and from 13.00h till 17.00 h.
Price for the workshop, all included is 450 euro.
There's a 200 euro non refundable downpayment in advance.
Coming from far ? No problem, I'll help you out with lodging, there are a lot of B&B's in the neibourhood, lots of hotels to choose from. These are only a few addresses to choose from , they will be updated very soon.
The studio can be reached by public transportation. We will pick you up at the railwaystation of Torhout.
